Join Kurt Kronawittleithner, Global Applications Director at UBQ Materials, during his presentation at SPE ANTEC® 2024 on Delivering Performance Requirements and Carbon Reduction in Challenging Applications. The presentation will be on March 6 at 1:30 p.m.
During his presentation, Mr. Kronawittleithner will describe the approach for the development of polymer formulations based on examples successfully introduced to applications in challenging automotive, construction, and rigid packaging parts. The various additive grades, with their special features and formulation options, are discussed in view of their application-specific requirements.
ANTEC® 2024, the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) annual technical conference, will be held in St. Louis, Missouri, from March 4-7. The event will showcase the latest trends and research in plastics and polymer science, and UBQ is excited to have the opportunity to share with the participants how our work can help advance sustainability targets in both industries.
The event is set to be a melting pot of ideas, with the participation of numerous companies and attendees eager to explore the future of plastics and polymers. Topics will range from breakthrough technologies and energy-efficient processes to the development of new, sustainable materials.
At the forefront of SPE ANTEC® 2024 will be discussions on current trends affecting the plastic and polymer industries, including sustainable solutions, a domain where UBQ has made significant strides. Our proprietary material, made from organic and unrecycled waste, represents a leap towards a more climate-positive, circular, and recyclable alternative. We are eager to share our journey and insights on integrating sustainability into the core of manufacturing processes.
Furthermore, the conference will provide an educational platform with workshops and expert-led talks, presenting an opportunity for us to learn and also to educate others about the advancements in sustainability material replacements and additives that remove and avoid greenhouse gas emissions, reduce the use of fossil-based plastics, and can be integrated into thousands of applications. We are particularly looking forward to the networking opportunities, to connect with other industry leaders and innovators.
UBQ’s participation in SPE ANTEC® 2024 is not just about showcasing our customer’s success stories; it’s about being part of a larger conversation with members of the plastic and polymer industries about how to accelerate the achievement of sustainability targets by reducing the products’ emissions footprint while tackling the global waste crisis.
Join us at SPE ANTEC® 2024 – where innovation meets sustainability and where the future of plastics and polymers are shaped. We look forward to seeing you there!”
